[Prince needed! ^.^]

Sianna stood on the archery field, the trees swaying. She looked around, making sure she was alone. Perfect, She thought to herself and narrowed her eyes in concentration slightly. The princess grounded herself and took in a deep, calming breath and raised her bow, withdrawing the arrow until it was now inline with her ear. She lined it up and let go, the arrow flying at top speed towards the target, missing the center by and inch. Sianna threw her head back and groaned, she had an almost-perfect aim and was determind to get rid of the almost. The princess grabbed another arrow and repeated the process.

Sianna - The Warrior Princess Empty Re: Sianna - The Warrior Princess

After nearly two days of travelling, the city finally came into view on the horizon. Prince Therrin halted his powerfully built mount, a stunning dappled grey stallion named Alkari, and looked at the towering buildings with disinterest. Yet another political visit with his parents. Honestly, he could imagine nothing as boring as these visits, doing nothing but smiling and talking for days on end. Shuddering at the thought, he waited for his parents’ carriage to reach him. Preferring to travel at his own speed, Therrin had chosen to ride separately, galloping wildly across the terrain and then stopping to practice his fighting whilst mounted as his parents caught up. After a few minutes, their carriage rattled up the dirt road and they continued towards the city. Scowling, Therrin walked ahead of the carriage, already missing the wild adventures and fierce battles he had back home, fighting for his life and getting into all sorts of trouble. He sighed deeply, leaning forward to stroke Alkari’s muscular neck.

Princess Sianna had now got the target twice in a row. 2 perfect. She smiled and withdrew another arrow when her phone went off over on the grass. The girl put the arrow back and walked over to her phone. It was her mother, Queen Arna, wanting her back at the castle because of royal visitors arriving. She sighed and slung her arrow over her shoulder and starting jogging in direction to the castle.

Sianna - The Warrior Princess Empty Re: Sianna - The Warrior Princess

[oops, I need to fast forward the clock a bit, I've been thinking medieval royalty XD]

Once through the city gates, Therrin dismounted and handed Alkari over to a waiting groom, watching with impatience as his parents stepped from their carriage. Seeing his annoyed expression, his mother sighed and hurried over to him. "Come now, Therry, cheer up. Can't have a pouty prince now can we?" she chided. Therrin winced at her patronising words, wishing with all his strength that he was somewhere else. Leaning forward, his mother kissed him on the cheek, much to Therrin's disgust. Brushing her away and rubbing his face, he shot fierce glances around and muttered angrily to himself. Reaching into his pocket, he grabbed his ipod and pulled it out, starting to unravel the head phones. "Put that away!" his mother barked sharply. Groaning to himself, Therrin obeyed and wondered if this trip could be any worse. Finally the three of them began the short walk up to the city's castle, Therrin keeping his head low and eyes narrowed grumpily.

Sianna - The Warrior Princess Empty Re: Sianna - The Warrior Princess

Sianna could see the footpath leading up to her castle. She slowed down and peered out the the bush and climbed into the path, glancing around. Most of the villagers were disgusted by the princesse's choice of reality but respected her. She nodded to a few of them and entered the castle doors. The princess saw her mother and father standing at the bottom of the staircase. Queen Arna, her mother, wore a look of doubt on her face, she hoped her daughter would of looked nicer. King Lewis, was glaring at her, "What have we told you about playing with your weapons?!" He said, clearly angry. Her mother sighed quietly, "Go and change into something ladylike, something a princess would wear," Queen Arna said softly. Princess Sianna's shoulder slumped and she slowly trudged up the stairs grumpily, she hated wearing the dresses... especially the heels.
Once in her room, Sianna put her bow under her bed and glanced in the mirror, leaves and grassed coated her curly hair. She started plucking out all the native accessories in her hair while searching for something 'presentable' to wear. Finally, she found a red gown and slipped it on, putting on a pair of black heels to match. Sianna let her curly hair cascade down her back and started heading downstairs and sat in the living room, waiting for the guests to arrive.

Sianna - The Warrior Princess Empty Re: Sianna - The Warrior Princess

The castle loomed above them, seeming to lean in the wind and threatening to tumble over, crushing them all. Looking up at the highest windows, Therrin almost wished it would happen. Despite the almost being killed, it would be a bit of excitement for the day. The massive doors before them were slowly opened, revealing a perfectly tidy, well designed room that was very suitable for the home of a royal. In a way, it reminded Therrin of the many rooms back home; bright colours and gold hinges wherever they could be. They were lead into a room close by, apparently the living room, but Therrin wasn't exactly interested. Sighing to himself, he gazed out one of the tall windows as his parents greeted the king and queen of the town. "King Lewis! What a pleasure to see you! It's been so long! Ah, Queen Arn, don't you look lovely." his father, King Rowedon, boomed. Beside him, Therrin's mother, Queen Merylin, smiled pleasantly and curtsied, flaunting her bright blue dress. Therrin glanced over, rolling his eyes at his parents, and suddenly noticed a girl sitting in one of the living room chairs. Surprised, he turned away from the window and half smiled at her, dipping his head in a sort of acknowledgement. Maybe this whole thing wouldn't be so bad.

Sianna - The Warrior Princess Empty Re: Sianna - The Warrior Princess

King Lewis's moss green eyes brightened in greeting as King Rowedon, Queen Merilyn and Prince Therrin entered his castle and bowed, "Yes, it has! Its a pleasure to see you all again!" He chuckled, smiling widely at the royal guests while Queen Arna curtsied in responsed and winked at the other queen, smiling with a small chuckle. She had always liked King Rowedon and Queen Merilyn, but she had only met their son when we was about 2 years of age.
Sianna stood up as the walked in and slowly walked over to her parents as the large doors opened. Her eyes were fixed on the smooth, bronze tile of the floor. She curtsied slightly and smiled quickly at the quests with a silent sigh, she had forgotten her tiara but that was the least of her worries. The princess noticed a prince along with the king and queen, she had met the king and queen before, but she didn't realise they had a son. She noticed him staring out one of the windows and glanced at the parents, her gaze slowly drifting back to Prince Therrin. Once her gaze as settled in, she noticed his head turn to look at her. He smiled, and it, strangely, dazzled her, a nod of acknowledgement followed. Sianna smiled back at him slightly and shifted her eyes back to the parents.
King Lewis could see Sianna and Therrin silently communicating, "Oh! I don't believe you have met my daughter, Sianna," He said to the guests. The king spun on his heel and gestured a hand towards his daughter.
Sianna smiled at the three, "Hello," She said quietly and a little shyly. She had never been good with communicating with others as she had never had to much.

Sianna - The Warrior Princess Empty Re: Sianna - The Warrior Princess

Looking a little dumbstruck, Therrin raised a hand and sort of waved as Sianna was introduced. Suddenly realising what he was doing, his expression became appalled and his hand shot to his pockets as he looked down at the ground. Of course, the first time he comes across a truly beautiful princess he makes an idiot of himself. Glancing up at her, he caught the slight smile in her bright eyes and couldn't resist smiling back. "A pleasure to meet you!" King Rowedon bellowed cheerfully, grabbing on of Sianna's hands and shaking it enthusiastically while Queen Merylin smiled apologetically. Prince Therrin shot a glare at his father, but it quickly dissapeared as the charismatic king turned to smile at him. "And this is my boy, Therry!" he told the others, slapping a hand against Therrin's back. "Therrin!" he snapped at King Roweden once he had regained his balance. Cheeks burning, he looked back at the ground and wished he could turn around and jump out the window.

Sianna watched the prince for a moment and giggled quietly. She felt a little startled as the king grabbed her hand and shook it. His grip was firm, it almost made her wince but she controlled herself and just smiled politely at him with a nod to the queen. The princess pulled back and clenched her hand into a fist, trying to relax. She watched the king, he seemed a little energetic. Sianna grinned and listened as they introduced their son, Therrin. She could see he was a little embarrassed with his father. Once the princess locked eyes with him, she smiled, "Hello," The princess said softly.
King Lewis shook Therrin's hand lightly, "Welcome," He murmured quietly while Queen Arna just nodded politely.

Glad that the king and queen had ignored the ridiculous nickname, Therrin smiled with appreciation as King Lewis shook his hand, nodding his thanks. Though Sianna's voice was soft and gentle, it instantly caught Therrin's attention and he looked over at her, his large eyes bright with surprise and uncertainty. A giggle lingered on her beautiful face and he felt his cheeks burn again with embarressment as he looked away, wishing he could dissapear. His fingers fiddled with his ipod and he suddenly felt very uncomfortable, but he managed to look over at her nervously and reply with a quiet, reluctant, "Hey..."

King Lewis gestured his hand towards a pair of glass doors with polished glass hinges. "Why don't I show you around the palace? We've added to it since last time you were here!" He said cheerfully and started leading the guests towards the glass doors with Queen Arna following behind him slowly.

Princess Sianna walked over to Therrin and smiled brightly, "Hi, I'm Sianna as you already know," She said and leaned over, kissing his cheek in greeting, "Welcome to Paradise Palace," The princess said smoothly and watched as her father lead the guests into another room. She glanced at Therrin, "Would you like to take a tour with the group or I could show you around myself?" Sianna said politely and waited for his response.

Even though Sianna's kiss was simply a polite greeting, Therrin was stunned by it and could only stare at her for a moment. Suddenly getting a grip on himself, he shut his eyes and shook his head, gathering his thoughts. "Oh, uh... sorry." he apologised, smiling apologetically, "I'd much rather go with you." Just as he said, his father's roaring laugh rang through the room, most likely at one of his own jokes. Rolling his eyes, Therrin wished again that he wasn't here. Then again, he really wanted to get to know Sianna. She's seemed so... normal. Though her looks were far beyond that, she was stunningly beautiful, she didn't seem to carry the haughty, selfish air that many royals had. Actually, none of her family did. Smiling with more confidence now, he shrugged and shook his head at King Rowedon's loud nature.

Sianna smiled widely and turned around, dancing towards a white door with small checks in it. Light shined through the holes gently. She quickly opened it and revealed a neatly looking garden with a few butterflies and insects resting on the plants. The princess looked around, she had always loved this place to come to to think or read. She smiled, "This is our garden," Sianna said brightly and started walking through it casually.

Therrin hurried after her, looking around once he had finally caught up. The garden was quiet, beautiful and seemed to radiate peace, and he felt instantly calmed simply by being there. He walked close to Sianna, speeding up whenever he slowed to look at something and fell behind. It was so nice to finally be away from his parents in the open, but he was again reminded of the thrilling adventures he always went on and longed to be swept off on some crazed journey. Coming back to the present, Therrin noticed he had fallen behind and jogged to catch up.
