I felt my face go red. "Thanks," was all that escaped my lips as I unwillingly tilted my head up in return to him getting closer.

I pecked her lips and handed her a card with a number on it.
"Call me" i smiled and walk back to my car without putting my shirt on

I took the card and stared at him for a second before running up to him. "I kinda wrecked your car...remember?" I told him "I can go get my-- no that's totaled..." I thought for a moment "I know someone who can lend us there truck to help you get your stuff to your place.. I'll pay for the car repairs." I finished staring in his eyes.

I started walking and put my coat and shirt over my shoulder
I threw her the keys "I dont know if it'll help. But if you could lock it?"

I caught the keys and stared at him.."Lock your car...that is totaled...while I'll be here hunting as you go...get repairs...?" I was so startled by how dumb this all sounded.

I stared at him. Then ran into the woods and formed. I ran to my cabin to drop off my bag then went back out hunting. I found a nice deer to eat then returned to the car and sat down in human form. I began thinking of what happened. "He controls emotions...he's freaking hot...he doesn't drink human blood...he thinks I'm pretty...he may be nice...he's hot...he has a card" I looked at it.

I got in the car with him and he began to drive back

"He's hot...he is a vampire...he's strong...he's hot...he's coming!" I quick jumped off the car's hood and stood there watching them approach. When they got close I yelled "Hey Mikey!"

"Me" I said "I was...chasing a deer and jumped on the hood of his car on accident.." I looked at the vamp trying to help keep his cover "Then I was so shocked I formed then came back so he knew it was me...what is your name anyways?" I asked.

"Most of the people older then me in the town knows." I told him. "Drake" I whispered and looked at the ground. Then I looked up and into Drake's eyes. "Um, you two got this covered?" I asked staring into Drake's eyes and smiled.

I tilted my head a little the right, pulled my chin towards my chest, stopped smiling, and closed my eyes. My hair picked up and started swirling. I opened my eyes with fear as my hair laid back still. "Ok,...see you later" I said then started running in mid step I formed then started running home as fast as I could.

"Nevermind. Lets get this back to the shop" he said and i helped him hook it up

Once I got home I jumped on the porch and formed in midair. "DAN? Are you here?" I yelled looking for Dan, he was there to install the sink for my new log cabin home.
"Yeah, I'm all done." as soon as he saw me "what's wrong?" he asked with worry in his voice.
"It's happened...but with a vampire" I told Dan as a tear slid down my cheek.
"With a vampire?" Dan asked hugging me close. "I did not know that could happen. It isn't a vampire named Drake is it? The new comer to town? I sensed he was a vampire as soon as I saw him. I am just human but" now he held my shoulders and looked in my eyes "I know if it's happened there is nothing we can do to change it. I'm sorry Ecolin. But it's happened." Dan apologized.
I looked at Dan, he was in his late 30s but still was in shape. I was about to say something but I started crying and hugged him.....

We finally got back.
"So how much blood money is this going to cost?" i asked with a smile
"About 3 gallons" he said
I pulled out the money and gave it to him
"Call me when it's ready" i said.
I grabbed my stuff and walked off in the direction on my house.

Dan soon left and headed to an others house to work. So I said "Bye" and watched him leave. I slowly climbed the stairs and sat on my bedroom windowsill and watched out the window. In the distance I could see Drake walking home, I almost got up to walk with him but I stayed where I was. I leaned my head back against the frame and started singing Her Diamonds.

I jumped a foot when the pebble hit and I fell onto the floor. I rubbed my head and looked down out the window. I smiled when I saw him and opened the window. "Catch me" I said and jumped out the window.

I put my arms around his neck. "Well I get my truck back tomorrow and Dan finished my sinks." I said and smiled "You guys get your stuff to your place?" I asked. "I still got stuff coming from across town." I laughed "We never get stuff done on time around here...unless it's.....important" I added.

"His son was a werewolf and since my parents died and so did his son we treat each other like family. And no need to be jealous he is in his 30s." I laughed. I looked into his eyes and smiled. "You are much kinder then I would have thought." I laid my head on his shoulder. "Thank you for catching me."
