Emma paused thoughtfully. "Well, I guess I couldn't take it. You know. After Dad..." she frowned and trailed off for a moment. "Sorry." She finished lamely.
Will smiled at her change of heart. "I think we should practice math; you are my tutor, right? Plus, we have a test soon. Sound like a plan?"

Jess laughed, "Yeah" Jess agreed. But after a few moments he laid his fork and plate down and then put his hands on the counter and leaned back "Tiffany has brain damage" He said "The uh barn collapsed on her in the fire..She uh was in therapy for about 3 years. She doesn't remember everything, she also changes the past and everything because sometimes she remembers it differently or something." Jess looked down.
"The uh library?" Tiff asked smiling "Not much distractions there" she teased.

Emma winced involuntarily. "I never knew." she muttered, thinking wryly about how, although she and Tiff were best friends, little they knew about each other.

Jess looked at Em "We all think we know someone like the back of your hand...but how often to do we actually keep track of what the back of our hands look like? How do we know when it changes if we don't know what it looks like from the beginning? It's ok Em. There are so many mysteries in the world, we'll never know anything as good..as the back of our hands" Jess announced before he casually went back to eating.

Will grinned, he took out his keys and clicked a button. His car -- a black Camaro -- made a beeping noise. He opened the passenger side door and bowed theatrically, sweeping his hand towards the car. "Milady." he grinned, closing the door after Tiff. Then Will walked to his side of the car and hopped in, inserting the keys and starting the engine.

Jess smiled as he began eating again "I gotta work at the farm today. Wanna come with?" he asked.
Tiff thought for a moment "Algebra fractions?" she questioned looking at him.
(Wanna rp the horses too? You being Em and Will's horses (you can rename them) and I being Jess and Tiff's horses (War and Jigs).)

Jess got in the truck and waited for Em then started up the truck and left. When he got to Bob's he parked the truck and went straight to the barn to let the rearing War out.
Tiff led the way to a table and sat down she put her head in her hands and moved her hair back.

Emma hopped out of the car at the farm and went to the stables, too. She walked up to a black mare --her black mare, Relic -- out. She patted her mare's nose and stroked the white star, smiling, before moving to get her tack.
Will plopped next to Tiff and pulled out a sheet of paper, a pencil, and picked his math book off of a shelf. He started flipping through, looking for the right page, so he could re-read the section on how to complete algebraic fractions.

Jess finally got War into the pasture and went to get Jigs. Jigs was easier but she still reared up too. He came back and started cleaning stalls, starting with Relic's so when Em was done working with Relic she could put her back in and take out Will's horse.
Tiffany sat there and took a different paper and pencil and wrote out an easy-to-follow-and-read guide on how to do algerbraic fractions in about 5 seconds...The guide took up both sides of the paper.

Emma finished saddling up Relic. Gripping the silky mane, Em pulled herself up. She patted the sleek black neck and nudged the mare into a trot. Once they were out of the stable, she gave Relic some more rein and urged her faster, glad for the company the horse provided. If Relic wasn't there, I'd probably start crying again, thought Emma as the wind blew back her hair, the steady beat of hooves against grass soothing her as she struggled to hold back the stream of emotions that resulted from her father's death the day before.
Will groaned as he read his paper. "This book is complicated." he complained, looking over the top of the book at Tiff's. "Is yours any easier?"

Jess finished Relic's and moved on to War and Jigs'. Once he was finished he put Will's horse in the round pen to clean his stall. Once he was done he laid fresh straw in each stall then put fresh water and hay in the stalls also. He would not put grain in War or Jigs' stall because of their energy. Relic and Will's horse were doing good so he put grain in there stalls then led Will's horse back in. He found Jigs' saddle and saddled her up. He went out on the 1/2 hour trail and rode slowly and calmly.
Tiff pasted him her guide and closed her book, she had finished the assignment.

Emma and Relic went faster and faster, Emma to leave the pain behind her, and Relic because she hadn't been let out all day. Despite the exhilaration of the ride, both rider and horse tired. Relic slowed to a trot, her coat shimmering with sweat, and Emma shortened the reins, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Good girl." she murmured, patting her mare, and turned back to the stable.
Will read Tiff's page and mumbled, "Ooooh" under his breath. He started scribbling on his sheet, glancing up at the paper every now and then.

Jess soon brought Jigs back to the barn but she was steal too jumpy so he put her out to the mare's pasture. War always in his own pen was brought out next not even saddled or bridled before he took off down the trail.

Emma rode into the stable, dismounting when she got there. She patted Relic's neck and began unsaddling her, humming softly to herself to pass the time. Once her horse was completely untacked, Em led her into the stable and started to groom her sleek coat.
Will finished his problems, checked his work, and softly asked Tiff, "Is that right?" He turned his paper to face her.

Jess galloped for 5mins and turned War around "ain't ya tired boy?" he asked letting War use up his energy on the ride back. When he got to the stables War was still jumpy so he put him in his own little pasture. Then headed inside "Hey Em, how was your ride?" he asked starting to clean the tack he used on Jigs.
Tiffany scanned it "Seems all right to me" she said.
